'Breitbart News Sunday' on SXM 125: Santelli on 5th Anniversary of Tea Party, Battleground Texas Takedown, Kiev

On Breitbart News Sunday on Sirius XM Patriot channel 125 from 7 PM to 10 PM EST, host and Breitbart News Executive Chairman Stephen K. Bannon will host a program highlighting the upcoming five-year anniversary of a Tea Party movement that has rocked the country’s political system and forced politicians to pay attention to things like crony capitalism on both sides of the aisle and government spending.

CNBC’s Rick Santelli will discuss his “rant heard around the world” that galvanized a movement that had been frustrated with George W. Bush’s big-government policies and inspired by Sarah Palin during the 2008 campaign into what is known today as the Tea Party movement. He will talk about what drove the Tea Party then and where the movement is today.

Jenny Beth Martin, the co-founder and national coordinator of the Tea Party Patriots, will discuss the conference on February 27 commemorating the five-year anniversary of the movement. Mark Levin will keynote the conference on February 27 while Sean Hannity will deliver a capstone speech. Sens. Ted Cruz (R-TX) and Mike Lee (R-UT) will also speak at the event. Other Tea Party activists who will be at the conference will be on the program to discuss the impact the Tea Party has had and will continue to have in their communities.

Breitbart’s Matt Boyle will discuss the impact the Tea Party movement is having in Washington, D.C.

Breitbart Texas Editor Brandon Darby will be on the show to discuss James O’Keefe’s takedown of Battleground Texas, and Lee Stranahan will talk about Jeremy Bird, the former Obama campaign digital operative who is the group’s leader.

Breitbart Texas’ border security expert Sylvia Longmire will discuss the capture of El Chapo on Saturday and the drug cartel war that may get more violent on the horizon.

Lisa De Pasquale will discuss her new book, Finding Mr. Righteous, about dating in D.C., faith, and CPAC.

Breitbart London

Breitbart London Managing Editor Raheem Kassam and Breitbart’s Mary Chastain, who has been covering Ukraine long before the mainstream press took an interest, will be on the program to discuss Kiev’s fall.

Bannon hosts the weekly three-hour show that helps set the next week’s news cycle.
