Glenn Greenwald, the left-wing journalist best known for his coverage and association with infamous national security leaker Edward Snowden, will receive the University of Georgia’s McGill Medal for Journalistic Courage. Dorothy Parvaz, an Al Jazeera English editor, won the award last year and was responsible for nominating Greenwald.
