Pope Francis made headlines after traveling to Calabria, Italy and denouncing the mafia.
During his trip, however, he stopped the papal motorcade to greet and bless a crowd of Italians that crowded the roadside.
In a video posted on Facebook, Pope Francis is seen exiting the motorcade vehicle to bless and kiss a sick boy on a stretcher.
“PAPA FRANCESCO si è fermato a casa nostra,” the caption reads, (Italian for “Pope Francis stopped at our house”)
“Brava Papa Francesco!” the group shouted as Pope Frances waved to the excited crowds and got back into his car.
