NBC’s Chuck Todd believes Romney’s risk-averse strategy was risky and that Romney lost the debate, but he also said Obama looked like the challenger last night. Overall, though, Todd seems to believe Obama did himself more good.
Where Todd and I disagree is that I think Romney won by executing his overall strategy flawlessly. Romney is now acceptable to the American people as as a Commander in Chief and no one is talking about a gaffe, which might’ve been fatal.
The only handle the ObamaMedia has today is to attack Romney for “moderating” his views. I’m sorry, but that’s a win.
We also have the Obama flacks on defense hollering about Romney “moderating” his views.
Again, this is a total win for Romney.
