In response to Constitutional cases: the one that got away:
Justice Roberts punted ObamaCare to the voters who were to hand down a verdict on election day. And with ObamaCare as unpopular as it was, that was supposed to bode well for Republicans. Or so some said.
It seems very, very clear to me in reviewing John Roberts’ decisionthat he is playing a much longer game than us and can afford to with alife tenure. And he probably just handed Mitt Romney the White House.
Since RomneyCare was the template for ObamaCare, I’m not sure how that was ever supposed to work out for Romney.
Yeah, that decision was a complete disaster for the Republic.
