What that has to do with the 2nd Amendment, I don’tknow, but all this “profound respect” Obama claims to have  forAmerica’s gun culture certainly doesn’t square with what he told economist and pro-gun advocate, John Lott when they chatted briefly about guns at the University of Chicagoyears ago: “I don’t believe people should be able to own guns,”he allegedly said.

ThatObama does square with a certain Chicago pol, who when running for Stateoffice in 1995, filled out a questionnaire showing support for statelaws to ban the manufacture, sale and possession of handguns, along withother various and sundry hard left positions.

Of course, when thequestionnaire emerged in 2007, it was very inconvenient to Obama thepresidential contender, so even though his own handwriting was on it, astaffer got blamed for filling it out. “I never saw or approved thequestionnaire”, Obama told Politico.

So Obama says he does “skeet shooting all the time”.
