Best of luck to Soledad O'Brien

I take no particular pleasure in the news that CNN has canceled Soledad O’Brien’s show. It was always an example of egregious left-wing media bias, which is precisely why it was, in a way, so useful to conservatives.

I had only one enduring grievance. After our exchange over Critical Race Theory, Soledad publicly invited me back on the show and then never honored that invitation. She did, however, invite someone to refute my arguments without offering me the chance to defend them. That’s not just bias–it’s downright rude.

Still, I wish her luck. There is increasing demand for partisan journalism–as long as it is up front about its biases. She has more talent and charisma than most of the current MSNBC lineup. Perhaps that’s an option.
