In response to Binge-viewing:
I wrote about Netflix binge viewing a while ago, Elizabeth, and as I recall the king of binge-viewing shows at the time was “Breaking Bad.” I also found the first few seasons of “24” were even better when viewed that way, especially since that show was supposed to be unfolding in real time. Of course, viewing it in real-time also enhances some of its lovable absurdities, such as Jack Bauer’s ability to move rapidly across highly congested urban areas, which rivals that of Santa Claus.
The odd little Norwegian series “Lillyhammer” is also easy to devour in a marathon setting. I think Netflix is still the only way for U.S. audiences to see it.
