I think it’s a bad way to watch something. I binge-viewed Always Sunny in Philadelphia after I discovered it, and by Season 4 I was barely watching, I was just playing them, to get through them. Just to complete the set and check the box.
Now whenever I want to see one I didn’t see, I play one from seasons 4 and 5, because I really didn’t watch them. And yet I saw enough of them that a new viewing is spoiled.
It’s a great show. But after 20 consecutive hours, it starts to get a little samey-samey. Just not a good way to watch something.
