Before You Go on National TV, Get Some Rest

This past week I appeared on one of CNN’s ‘Latino’ political programs, ‘Choque de Opinions.’ We taped the show on Thursday around 1 pm, but the show doesn’t air until Sunday night at 8 pm. So far so good. Well, just my luck, Wednesday night I decided to meet up with a friend of mine down in Miami. Upon arriving to her residence, I noticed that my truck was not staying in gear as I tried to put it in the parking position. Long story short, I broke some wire withing he steering column that connects the gears to the little thingy you pull to put the vehicle in gear.

Anyways, got home at 4am, woke up at 7am. Up all morning and went straight to the CNN office in Fort Lauderdale. Sure enough, I started to get sleepy-eyed, as you can see in the picture. I held my own, and even landed some direct blows to a couple of the left-leaning immigration reform panelists, but let me just tell you, I barely made it. I almost nodded of twice during the break. That would have been hilarious if they cut to me and I fell asleep.
