Woodward Reaffirms: President Moved the Goalposts

Bob Woodward appeared on Morning Joe today and defended his claim that the White House moved the goalposts on the sequestration deal:

Axelrod claims the President has always had the same goals. That’s nice. It may even be true. But the deal he signed isn’t a goal, it’s a law. It says after 1/15/12 sequester is in effect with implementation every January starting in 2013. That’s the actual deal he agreed to–with no revenues–in order to avoid having to negotiate during an election year.
