Harry Reid Filibuster Interruption Is a Media Play

The reason Senate Majority Leader Sen. Harry Reid (D-NV) interrupted when he did was likely in the hopes of stealing some of Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY)’s thunder in tonight’s Nightly News broadcasts. That little bit of tension, he hopes, will be what the networks pull tonight as opposed to Paul’s overall point about Obama’s chilling drone policy.

Smart move.
