Krauthammer: This Is The Moment That Launched Rand Paul As A National Figure

On today’s Special report Charles Krauthammer disagreed with Senator Paul’s stance on the use of drones in the U.S. (and I disagree with Dr. Krauthammer, which rarely happens. ) Krauthammer posited that he could think of a scenario in which an American terrorist, sitting at a cafe, posing no imminent threat, could/should  be blasted with a drone strike.

But he also conceded that Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) is making some very good arguments, and is obviously sincere in what he’s saying. He called the filibuster of John Brennan nomination for CIA director a “stroke of political genius.” He also said “This will be a moment that people will say has launched him as a national figure.”
