This morning, MSNBC host Joe Scarborough called Texas Senator Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) ignorant four times for asking Sen. Diane Feinstein (D-Calf.) a question about her gun control proposals. However, the venom spewed at the Senator from Texas didn’t begin with Scarborough.
Last night, host Chris Mathews admitted that he “doesn’t understand how people can elect someone like Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX)?” Liberal columnist Cynthia Tucker doubled down on Sen. Cruz saying, “not only is Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) an extremist, he’s also overbearing, arrogant and condescending. And I can only imagine how Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) felt. How dare he?”
Rounding out MSNBC’s primetime attacks on Sen. Cruz last night was Lawrence O’Donnell who opened his segment saying, “The Liar who Texas voters have sent to Washington as their Junior Senator embarrassed himself again today […] Ted Cruz made a career out of telling lies in Texas that right wing fanatics wanted to hear […]”
