Google's latest groaner

In response to Google Recognizes Palestine as a State:

Once again, as a happy user of Google’s well-designed products, I must heave a mighty sigh at the editorial decisions of their web page.  

Apologists for Google’s failure to observe certain holidays often try to portray the omissions as unintentional or incidental, rather than deliberate slights.  It’s hard to believe the people responsible for this don’t know exactly what they were doing.
