2012 Testimony: Lack of Budget Not a Factor in Benghazi Security Decisions

During today’s hearings, Democrats have suggested that cuts to the State Department’s budget may have played a role in the lack of security in Benghazi. This claim was addressed during the previous hearings which took place on Oct. 10, 2012.

Rep. Dana Rohrabacher: “Was there any budget consideration and lack of budget which led you not
to increase the number of people in the security force there?”

Charlene Lamb: No, sir.

The full video of the exchange was posted by the House Oversight Committee last October and is available here.
