IRS Scandal Makes Libertarians Case Against Government

Florida Congressman Tom Rooney (R-FL) has
called for the elimination of the Internal Revenue Service, as a direct result
of the scandal that the IRS has targeted ‘Tea Party’ related non-profit
organizations.

 

The IRS has admitted
wrongdoing, but now are trying to sweep this scandal under the rug by saying
that it was an isolated incident that occurred in the Cincinnati, Ohio office
of the agency.

The actual IRS reforms that members of
Congress are calling for will probably never happen, but one thing is for certain,
Libertarians are rejoicing that their conspiracy theories about big bad
government have no been proven to be true.

 

The Ron Paul nation has long wanted to abolish
the IRS, and due to the scandal the IRS is currently neck-deep in, it is fair
to say that they are very happy campers.
