Democratic Party Communications Director Brad Woodhouse just tweeted out his response to word that some news outlets, including the New York Times, have refused to attend a private meeting with AG Holder:
POTUS asked AG to review how leak investigations are done but some in the media refuse to meet with him. Kind of forfeits your right gripe.
— Brad Woodhouse (@woodhouseb) May 29, 2013
Where to begin? Woodhouse is minimizing the seriousness of labeling a reporter a “co-conspirator” down to the level of a “gripe.” In addition, he’s actually chastising the media–who were the targets in several cases–for refusing to be part of Holder’s apology tour. Conservatives were shocked:
Most transparent admin ever treats journalist as spy, then holds off the record presser. DNC says attend or forfeit “right to gripe.” LOL.

But so were mainstream journos like Jake Tapper:
this is actually the spokesman for the Democratic National Committee > twitter.com/woodhouseb/sta…

And here’s Dylan Byers’ reaction:
@woodhouseb Jesus, Brad.

Woodhouse may want to take a few more days off.
