LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A Louisville woman who was allegedly stumbling into highway traffic Friday evening has been arrested after police found a bag of Xanax pills in her vagina and a white powder in her purse, believed to be crack cocaine.
Police found the woman in a Rally’s parking lot where she falsely identified herself as Melissa Middleton, but could provide no address. While officers questioned her, a friend drove up and identified the woman to police as Melissa Huff.
It wasn’t until she was taken into custody that policed discovered the bag of Xanax pills lodged in her vagina and a white substance in her purse suspected to be crack cocaine.
Huff is charged with tampering with physical evidence, possession of a controlled substance, trafficking a controlled substance, providing a false name to officers and public intoxication.
Just what tipped off the police to search Huff’s purse, no-one can say.
