PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – According to Police, a paralyzed man was stabbed multiple times during an argument Monday night in what appears to be a quarrel over a paraplegic woman.
The incident occurred at an apartment complex in Southwest Philadelphia, when a male visitor allegedly got into a fight with the 43-year-old victim over a female resident, who is also paraplegic.
The victim received numerous stab wounds to the chest and his genitals were severed. He was taken to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania where he is in a coma and listed in critical condition.
The suspect was arrested at the scene.
