HOLLYWOOD — Three transients were taken into custody for allegedly stabbing a 23-year-old woman to death after she took their picture with her cellphone on Tuesday evening in Hollywood.
According to a statement from the LAPD: “the victim was with a friend walking in the area when they saw three men who were holding signs and panhandling. The victim and her friend took photos of the men with their cell phones as they were holding their signs. A dispute ensued, and ultimately the victim was stabbed in the upper torso.”
She later died at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center
The suspects are said to be in their late 20s and early 30s and were arrested near the crime scene.
An LAPD officer added that the victim had refused to give the men any money.
