Police: Preschool Teacher Has Heroin Delivered To School

MILWAUKEE – A 20-year-old preschool teacher is accused of having heroin delivered to the school where she worked. The suspect, Kelly Cirillo, allegedly enlisted a friend to make the drop at Hales Corner Lutheran Preschool on May 9, telling co-workers that she was having food delivered.

One of her co-workers was suspicious of the package as Cirillo had mentioned drug use in the past. According to the report, he opened the brown paper bag to find an unsealed box of Sour Patch Kids, and inside, what appeared to be an illegal drug. When approached by Cirillo, he told her the package had not yet been delivered.

The former teacher was charged after Police searched her phone where they found text messages arranging the drop. They also found drug paraphernalia including needles and wet brown cotton balls in a nylon bag she kept in the school’s basement.

She is facing four criminal charges and if convicted, could face up to a year in jail and $11,500 in fines.

She is currently offering private tutoring.
