4 Zimmerman Jurors Distance Themselves from Comment of Juror B37

Immediately after juror B37 gave an interview to CNN’s Anderson Cooper Tuesday night, four other jurors contacted the station to say that she did not speak for them.

Fox News reports that a note written on court stationary and signed by four of the other jurors read “The opinions of Juror B37, expressed on the Anderson Cooper show were
her own, and not in any way representative of the jurors listed below.”

The note went on to say “Serving on this jury has been a highly emotional and physically draining
experience for each of us. The death of a
teenager weighed heavily on our hearts but in the end we did what the
law required us to do.”

The four jurors also asked the news media for privacy saying they had not invited “this type of attention into our lives.”
