At his press conference today, Mayor Bob Filner explained he plans to continue running San Diego from the facility he will check into to help him with his “behavior” towards women.
It is likely the tab for this “therapy” might be picked up by the taxpayers of San Diego.
He did not take questions after reading his statement or mention if he plans on resigning but since he plans to get briefed on city business while undergoing therapy, it’s a safe bet he isn’t thinking of stepping down. Yet.
The San Diego Democrat Party called for him to resign yesterday and this morning Debbie Wasserman-Schultz did as well.
