Video: Jay Carney Struggles To Explain Obama's Lies – Blames 'Challenging Communications'

In response to Video: 36 Times Obama Lied About Keeping Your Insurance:

Asked by Fox News’ Ed Henry at the White House briefing, Tuesday, if Carney could at least disavow what Obama said a month ago when he said, “if you already have healthcare, you don’t have to do anything”, Jay Carney answered, “I ….as I said last week, accept that communications are challenging, here….”

When Henry persisted, Carney protested, “Ed, I’ve addressed this question repeatedly…” Then he said that “what the president was referring to were the broader promises in the Affordable Care Act.” Of course, the millions of Americans who are losing their health care plans are more interested in what he actually repeatedly said.

Ed Henry tried one last time, “here’s the president just a few days before the actual launch, saying something that just wasn’t true, right?”

Carney graciously accepted that there is “a lot of focus on a slice of just 5% of the population”, and went on to say the website malfunctions were preventing those people from seeing their better options.

In another bravura performance, today, DNC Chair, Debbie Wasserman Schultz told MSNBC when asked about Obama’s ObamaCare promises, “No, there was nothing about President Obama or that I or any other Democrat supporting the Affordable Care Act said that was not true.”
