We were supposed to read the law no Democrat read before voting on it

In response to White House: President Was Just Explaining the Law Monday Night:

I can’t remember a bit of political spin that wore out its welcome faster than this new Democrat talking point.  Why, if we’d all just read the ten zillion pages of the Affordable Care Act – something none of them did before voting on it – we’d have known what Obama really meant!  It’s our fault for being so uninformed that we fell for his repeated and blatant “mis-statements.”  He forgot to clarify all that stuff about how millions of people would lose their coverage, and any insurance plan that so much as twitches would be instantly shot dead, but we should have studied the bill carefully enough to know all that.

Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) said we had to pass ObamaCare to find out what’s in it.  Now the Democrats are saying we should have known what was in it before they passed it, and maybe clued them in before they voted on it.  We were even supposed to know what the HHS rules for “grandfathering” policies would be, before they were written.  That way we could play the high-speed fine print in our heads when Obama spoke, and forget about the plain English meaning of his words.  He didn’t lie to us… we lied to ourselves!
