A series of new ads feature three individuals known for doing good in their life along with a “new guy.”
The ads were created to encourage donations to Unicef in Sweden. All of the characters speak English (Jesus speaks with a noticeable Australian accent). Here’s the first clip.
The second clip is slightly more irreverent but similar. Note Jesus pouring himself a glass of water and later drinking a glass of wine:
The last clip features the new guy showing Jesus and Gandhi how to use the internet:
An art director for agency that came up with the ads told the Local “we worked together to make sure that we portrayed these icons in a good way.” Unicef raised $3.5 million in Sweden during the Christmas season last year and hopes to raise more this year.
