Andrew Breitbart, the Tea Party, and Occupy

March 1 marks the second anniversary of the passing of my friend and colleague, Andrew Breitbart. He was the Tea Party’s greatest defender, and Occupy Wall Street’s most effective critic. He saw the former as an authentic popular movement fighting government repression and media bias, and the latter as a mob of tragicomically misguided fools under Obama’s political protection. In other words, ripe for satire. In his memory, here’s the video we made of our visit to Occupy LA in October 2011, at the corner of 7th & Figueroa. I miss him every day.
