Klansman Frazier Glenn Cross Placed on Suicide Watch

Klansman Frazier Glenn Cross, 73, is reportedly on suicide watch after being charged with one capital murder count in the slayings of a boy and his grandfather in Kansas City and is also charged with first-degree murder in the death of a mother of three.

He’s being held on $10 million bail.

Overland Park Police Chief John Douglass said investigators have “unquestionably determined” that hate drove Cross to kill.

Prosecutors suspect Cross, a former grand wizard of the Carolina Knights of the Ku Klux Klan, set out to target Jewish victims, but ended up killing three Christians.

Cross was arraigned on the state charges Tuesday via video from the Johnson County Jail, where he’s been placed on suicide watch and is being held on $10 million bail.

The district attorney has said he intends to consult with familyu members of the victims before deciding to seek the death penalty.

Cross may also end up facing federal charges for his actions.
