Kentucky is one of the nation’s leading coal-producing states where the 89,350 coal-related jobs with a combined payroll of $5.5 billion are threatened by the Obama administration’s devastating environmental restrictions.
So why on earth would US Senate candidate Alison Lundergan Grimes want to attend a DC fund-raiser with anti-coal zealot, Harry Reid, who once said, “coal makes us sick”?
