Obama: Hillary's 'Dead Broke' Comments No Big Deal

Barack Obama doesn’t think the broad criticism Hillary Clinton has received for her “dead broke” comments will impact on any potential plans to run for the presidency.

Said Obama, Hillary’s “track record on that speaks for itself” in an interview with George Stephanopoulos that aired Sunday. Ironically, Obama made the comments during a trip to Minnesota “to meet with struggling citizens and highlight the plight of the middle class.”

One might think said middle class has a different defintion of “dead broke” than the one beingbandied about by Hillary and now Obama, too. Perhaps it’s rfeally more of a game to them, than a rodeo as Obama went on to suggest.

“I think that Hillary has been to this rodeo a bunch of times. … As soon as you jump back into the spotlight in a more explicitly political way, you’re going to be fly-spec like this,” Obama said.
