According to Boston Globe reporter Akilah Johnson, the Ferguson police didn’t take kindly to having MSNBC’s spotlight shown on them during the violent protests in Ferguson, Missouri, late Monday night.
Johnson, who was on the scene, tweeted that an officer told MSNBC through a loudspeaker to “turn off those lights. You are endangering lives. You are spotlighting our officers.”
