Michael Egan, the former child model and aspiring actor who filed suit against “X-Men” director Bryan Singer and three other Hollywood executives accusing them of sexually abusing him as a teen in the 1990s, has dropped one of his suits. The sexual abuse lawsuit against Former Disney Television David Neuman has been withdrawn.
Egan’s suit had accused Neuman of sexually abusing him in Hawaii and Los Angeles during the 1990s. Neuman had already filed for a dismissal claiming that during sworn testimony in 2003, Egan, who is now 31, testified that Neuman had never acted unprofessional towards him.
“David Neuman has never been present when I was involved in any type of sexual conduct, never harassed me, never made sexually suggestive remarks to me, and never acted improperly around me or toward me,” Egan said in a 2003 declaration included with the motion.
Neuman’s motion also included six sworn declarations from individuals who said that Neuman was never in Hawaii with Egan.
As of now, Egan’s lawsuit against Singer and the two other Hollywood players is moving forward. All of the defendants claim they are completely innocent and that Egan and his attorney are on the hunt for money and attention.
