On June 16 Lynwood, CA, taco stand owner Jose Padilla pulled his gun when three armed black males entered his business to rob it as it closed. He was gunned down–shot at least 10 times–while using a .38 Special to defend his family.
Padilla’s brokenhearted daughter, Mariam, said her dad pulled his gun because he would “not go down without a fight.”
The Sheriff Department is reviewing surveillance video from inside the taco stand. They believe it may have caught the robbery as well as Padilla’s murder.
