Sandra Bullock's Alleged Stalker Possessed Illegal Guns

Police say the 39-year-old who allegedly broke in to Sandra Bullock’s home on June 8 possessed illegal guns, a “machine gun” among them.

James Corbett did not have the “machine gun” with him when he broke into Bullock’s residence, but it was discovered “on June 9 during a subsequent search” of his residence.

According to the Los Angeles Times, Deputy District Attorney Wendy Segall said Corbett has been charged with “19 felony counts, including seven counts of possession of a machine gun, two counts of possession of an illegal assault weapon and 10 counts of possession of a destructive device.”

“Prosecutors say Corbett scaled a fence to access Bullock’s property” and investigators believe he entered “the house through a back door” once on the property.

If Corbett is found guilty on all charges he “could face up to 12 years in jail.”
