4-Car Crash in McDonald's Drive-Thru

In Vallejo, California, on Monday morning, a driver who had a seizure lost control of his truck and hurtled into a McDonald’s drive-thru, according to SFGate.com.

The truck picked up speed as it smashed into three cars, then finally came to a stop on its side, according to Vallejo Fire Capt. Morty Culverwell. The crash was bad enough that three fire engines, a group of police officers and paramedics were called. The driver had to be pulled from his truck as he was trapped inside.

Two people who were injured in their cars were taken to Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in Vallejo; another was brought to Sutter Solano Medical Center. None of the injuries were serious. Culverwell said, “It’s lucky it wasn’t a lot worse. There is a gas station right there with a lot of people getting gas in the morning. It was lucky more people weren’t hurt.”
