Demonstrators in Murrieta, CA have confronted and turned away three busloads of about 100 illegal aliens, many of whom are woman and unaccompanied minors rounded up by U.S. Border Patrol in Texas and flown to California, according to KPBS, wire services and Breitbart News sources.
KTLA-Los Angeles reported that a counter-demonstration had also gathered on the other side of the street to show support for the “undocumented.”
The original group of demonstrators exceeded 100 people, waving American flags and shouting “U-S-A!” The buses were soon rerouted to a Border Patrol facility in Chula Vista, in San Diego county, which was apparently equipped with bunk beds, showers, and other amenities. “Quite frankly, I don’t know why they didn’t bring them there in the first place,” Christopher Harris, a Border Patrol union representative, told KPBS.
