San Francisco Strip Clubs Hold 'Jobs Fair'

Ten San Francisco strip clubs held a job fair on Monday to look for workers, according to CBS News’ local affiliate. Axel Sang, director of marketing for BSC Management, which manages several night clubs, said, “San Francisco has one of the lowest unemployment rates. It’s been hard for us to find good qualified hospitality staff.”

The job fair was held at the Holiday Inn in Fisherman’s Wharf to find bartenders, door hosts and entertainers. The range of income entertainers could make was estimated at $200-400 a night, according to one person who was at the event, KPIX reported.

One applicant said, “Being an entertainer is an honest living. It’s legit and we’re not doing anything we’re not supposed to be doing.”
