Author and filmmaker Dinesh D’Souza, who was sentenced late last month to five years’ probation and eight months of community service for violating federal campaign finance laws, revealed to Breitbart News that he will be documenting and broadcasting his court-ordered community service for the public to see.

Part of his sentencing includes court orders to teach English as a Second Language (ESL) to immigrants and minorities.

On September 23, D’Souza was spared jail time for illegally providing straw donations to his college friend and New York Senatorial candidate Wendy Long. Following his sentencing, he released a video detailing his grateful sentiments surrounding New York Judge Richard Berman’s decision.

D’Souza revealed to Breitbart News that he believes he was targeted by the Obama Administration in an interview last week. “I know that the government was not only out to get me but to put me away–and put me away in such a significant way that if I got a sixteen-month sentence, for example, I’d be in a federal prison camp from now until the end of next year.”

In addition to teaching ESL, D’Souza, an Indian immigrant who says he achieved the American Dream, will be incorporating lessons on citizenship into his time with the children whose English language skills he will be helping to advance.

He also revealed to Breitbart News that the public should be expecting another hit documentary film from him very soon.

I am definitely going to make a big film in 2016. I’m going to release it in the summer, just like the movie 2016, which came out in 2012. I’m in a very early stage–I’ve been preoccupied with legal problems and I’ve been trying to dodge a bullet, and I’m very glad I’ve been able to do that and so I’ve been pulling blueprints and starting to think about what that movie will look like.
