Jailed Berkeley Protestor Tweets Complaint About Baloney Sandwich

A Berkeley activist who goes by the Twitter handle @violentfanon, and who was arrested for taking part in protests Monday evening, took to social media to complain about the quality of food he was being served while spending time in the lockup.

Some tweeted sympathy, but others ridiculed and mocked his complaint:

One tweeter even suggested @violentfanon count his blessings, considering his prison lunch appeared to be much better than the lunches served in schools.

Several less-than-appetizing images of school lunches have been floating around Twitter with the hashtag #ThanksMichelleObama:

The jailed activist even complained about the juice that was being served:

His juice was likely in better form than this orange juice served at a school in Kentucky:

In the end, it appeared @violentfanon was able to make the best of his undesirable situation–at least, before the food incident.
