An Anaheim resident is one of 10 finalists who could win a $10,000 grand prize and a chance to have his Charmin toilet paper wedding dress produced and sold in fabric by New York-based, world-renowned bridal shop Kleinfeld.
Frank Cazares, 26, discovered and entered the contest last year, just two days before the deadline, according to the Orange County Register. But that didn’t stop him from entering the 11th annual toilet paper wedding contest hosted by Cheap Chic Weddings and sponsored by Charmin; a move that landed him in the top 10 spot of finalists on his very first attempt.

Cazares, who works for the Walt Disney Company and has a degree in design, reportedly used 34 rolls of toilet paper and yards of duct tape to create the unique, delicate masterpiece. He reportedly worked on it for two weeks straight, enduring sleepless nights after returning home from work and often waking up “covered in toilet paper dust.” He told the OC Register that he named the dress “Hope,” drawing his inspiration for it from his aunt ,who is a 10-year breast cancer survivor
The other nine finalists’ dresses can be seen on the Cheap Chic Weddings site.
