On August 16, dog lovers can congregate in California’s luxurious Hollywood Hills for the second annual Dachshund Pool Party.
Susanna Zachary, who is the founder of SysterLi handcrafted dog products, is sponsoring the event. In an interview with LAist.com, she said this year’s pool party will even include a “‘baby doggie pool’ for the scared swimmer.” There will reportedly be flower crowns for the dogs and 20 percent of all doggie bandana sales will go towards the Dachshund Rescue of Los Angeles.
Attendees can send out photos of the event using the hashtag #DoxiePoolPawty on social media. Photos of last year’s pool party can be found here.
Zachary has requested that anyone interested in attending her pooch pool party send an email along with some information and a picture of their pet to systerli@hotmail.com.
