One of California’s “most wanted” female fugitives was captured in Canton, Ohio, on August 11 at a house where she and a partner were allegedly growing marijuana and “distributing methamphetamine.”
The fugitive, 43-year-old Reine Fleur Silverlight, was apprehended along with 51-year-old Darrin Saunders.
According to the Canton Rep, witnesses said they were not surprised by the 7:30 a.m. raid carried out by federal agents. One neighbor–Jamie Newman–said, “Their windows are taped up and during the nighttime, there’s bluish-purple lights. We just knew something was up.”
Another neighbor said she had noticed increased traffic in and out of the house lately, and that Silverlight and Saunders appeared to be “most active at night.”
The Rep reports that “grow lights were visible through glass block basement windows as agents marched inside.” Silverlight and Saunders were cuffed and placed under guard “in the back seat of a car” as “Stark Metro Narcotics Unit officers were called to the scene to dismantle the marijuana-growing operation in the basement.”
In addition to the marijuana and meth, agents seized an unreported number of guns.
