Man’s Heirs To Destroy $5 Million In Guns and Ammo

The heirs of 60-year-old Jeffry Lash plan to destroy a stockpile of $5 million in guns and ammunition discovered after his death in Pacific Palisades last year.

Family members intend to destroy the guns to show their disapproval of “gun violence.”

Lash was discovered dead in an SUV in the summer of 2015. Breitbart News reported that as Lash approached death, he told various women he was suffering side effects from poisonous agents to which he had allegedly been exposed while working for the CIA. In truth, he had cancer.

According to ABC 7, “Police said Lash stockpiled more than 1,500 guns, 6.5 tons of ammunition, nearly $250,000 cash and more than a dozen survivalist-type vehicles.”

Daniel Brookman, an attorney for Lash’s heirs, says he will “reject [their] inheritance to send a message against gun violence.” Speaking for the heirs, Brookman said, “We don’t want it. We don’t want money from these weapons. We don’t want these weapons out there. We want them destroyed.”

Investigators cannot ascertain where Lash came up with the money to buy the weapons, ammunition, and vehicles: “Police said there is no record that he ever filed a tax return or held a job,” ABC 7 reports.
