Lake Geneva Alderman Doug Skates recently did a ride-along with police which featured a high-speed chase and Skates singing the “Cops” theme song while officers pointed their guns at a “California shooting suspect.”

Lake Geneva is located in Wisconsin.

According to Lake Geneva News, the high speed chase occurred after police spotted 21-year-old Brian Zuniga, who was “wanted for shooting a man [in King County, CA].” The chase occurred just after 9 and was called off “for safety reasons.” Shortly after the chase ended, officers witnessed a car speeding in their direction with one of the occupants–a 36-year-old man–actually jumping from it.

The car was located and “neighbors in the area…reported suspicious activity in a garage.”

Suspecting Zuniga was in the garage, officers drew their guns and entered while Skates sang the “Cops” theme song. Inside the garage, officers found Zuniga and a 16-year-old. Skates said, “I’m telling you, it was stellar. I’d pay to do it next time.”

Zuniga is being held in the Walworth County jail. His bond is $500,000.
