Feinstein: Netanyahu “Arrogant”

Sen. Dianne Feinstein attacked Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Sunday morning as “arrogant” for asserting that he speaks for all Jews in his upcoming speech to Congress. According to Jewish law, Feinstein is not Jewish herself. Feinstein’s father was Jewish; her mother came from parents of the Russian Orthodox faith.

Pray for Netanyahu

I’m fasting Monday and praying for Benjamin Netanyahu’s success in his speech to Congress on Tuesday. I don’t care for the pettiness of his American Jewish critics, who typify the establishment that remained silent during the Holocaust; nor the hysterics of his Israeli opponents, who prove by their behavior they are unfit to lead. I am hoping sense will prevail. I trust God and not the mainstream media, here and abroad, who have declared Netanyahu’s speech a disaster in advance.

O ‘Progressive’: Thou Art the Man!

The “progressive” movement sustains itself on the idea that it is standing up against abuses of power by the wealthy and well-connected, that it defends the rights of the most vulnerable, that it stops special interests from taking over the state. And yet the “progressive” administration of Barack Obama has done all that, and more. It has not just committed ordinary hypocrisy, selling out its principles or breaking its promises: worse, it has often fulfilled them, blind to the consequences.

Best “Net Neutrality” Silicon Valley Money Can Buy

The hard-Left publication The Nation and their allies advocated for the FCC’s “Net Neutrality” passage to regulate and tax the Internet as “People Power”. But in politics, it is always best to “follow the money.” For 2014, lobbying expenditures by computer/Internet companies hit $139.5 million. The Left likes to talk about “People Power”, but Silicon Valley lobbying cash is “Corporate Power.”

Chris Christie Jets from CPAC to CA: Don’t Rush to 2016

Fresh off his speech at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) in Washington, D.C., New Jersey Governor Chris Christie put out the call to California Republicans gathered in Sacramento this weekend to hold off on uniting behind one candidate for 2016, but telling the crowd, “If you’re ready to fight with me, everybody… I will fight with you.”

‘Blackfish’ Continues to Cost Sea World

Fallout from the Blackfish documentary, and continued activist criticism, may be to blame for SeaWorld’s disappointing 2014 earnings report, which still shows a downward decline. Park attendance was down only a small amount–22.4 million in 2014, versus 23.4 million in 2013. Earnings, however, suffered more.

Proposed AR-15 Ammo Ban ‘Detrimental Especially’ for California

While the ATF’s proposed ban of M855 ammunition would hurt gun owners everywhere by taking away one of the most popular AR-15 rounds in the country, the National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF) reports it would be “detrimental… especially” for Californians, where Governor Jerry Brown (D) has already signed a bill banning most traditional hunting ammo.

Obama Administration Just Gave Away a Million More ‘Green Cards’

With the ink hardly dry on Federal District Judge Andrew Hanen’s order slamming the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) for trying to grant up to 11.7 million illegal aliens/undocumented workers “green cards,” President Obama just instructed Homeland Security to offer “green cards” to H1-B holder spouses and children under 21 years old.

Blue State Blues: Bibi Is Coming–Whether the Jewish Establishment Likes It or Not

And Esther said to Hathach, and she ordered him to [tell] Mordechai: “All the king’s servants and the people of the king’s provinces know that any man or woman who comes to the king, into the inner court, who is not summoned, there is but one law for him, to be put to death, except the one to whom the king extends the golden scepter, that he may live, but I have not been summoned to come to the king these thirty days. And they told Esther’s words to Mordechai. And Mordechai ordered to reply to Esther, “Do not imagine to yourself that you will escape in the king’s house from among all the Jews.” (Esther 4:10-13)

The all-Republican Board of Supervisors of Orange County in California is poised next Tuesday to adopt one of the nation’s most aggressive and enlightened policies to open the doors for all passengers flying in and out of John Wayne International Airport to be able to arrive and leave the airport easily via ride-sharing companies such as Uber, Lyft and Sidekick.

Stockton Humbly Emerges from 31 Months of Bankruptcy

The City of Stockton emerged from bankruptcy on Wednesday, February 25, after a 31-month ordeal. There were no winners in trying to restructure over $2 billion in debt and obligations. Nearly half of non-safety city employees were dumped, the survivors’ wages were cut by up to 23 percent, and retirees lost $500 million in lifetime medical benefits. Bondholders and creditors are receiving pennies on the dollar. Hopefully the sad lessons about what happened to Stockton might help other California cities to control spending.

Net Neutrality Passes: Everybody Equal, But Google Much More Equal

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has voted to approve a wildly controversial Net Neutrality policy that will regulate and tax the Internet intensely, much like the old AT&T telephone monopoly. To help secure political support, Chairman Tom Wheeler made last-minute revisions at the request of Google, according to Politico’s sources at the Commission.
