The Jerusalem Post reports: More than 1.3million Israelis took part Tuesday in more than 14,000 projects throughout the country to mark the tenth annual Good Deeds Day, a project encouraging people to volunteer and give back to the community.

“Every year we are amazed at the creativity and ideas people have, and the goal here is to create a critical mass of goodness that will bring about positive change in the world.
