The Russian Navy’s aircraft carrier group centered around the Admiral Kuznetsov is now cruising off the coast of Syria and has begun flight drills with its on-board compliment of Mig-29K and Sukhoi Su-33 fighters.
A Russian Ministry of Defense video shared by Russian TVZvezda reveals the ships sailing in formation while aircraft aboard the Admiral Kuznetsov complete take offs and landings.
The Russian carrier strike group is comprised of battlecruiser Pyotr Veliky, destroyer Vice Admiral Kulakov and a number of supporting ships.
