COPLEY TOWNSHIP, Ohio — A Michigan man held his 9-month-old daughter in a motel room while the baby’s mother had sex with another man for money, police said.
Derohn Wilburn, 25, of Detroit, is charged with fourth-degree felony promoting prostitution and misdemeanor child endangering. He is scheduled Friday for his first appearance in Barberton Municipal Court.
The child’s mother, Melissa Coleman, 26, of Akron, is charged with misdemeanor child endangering and prostitution. She pleaded not guilty Friday at a hearing in Barberton Municipal Court and was released on a $5,000 signature bond.
