Border Patrol Union Recognized for Communications Program: Audience Reminded ‘#PoliceLivesMatter’

The National Border Patrol Agents Council (NBPC) vice-president received a communications award from the nation’s largest employee union, the American Federation of Government Employees (AFGE). The award recognized the Border Patrol union’s “The Green Line” podcast. During his acceptance of the award at the AFGE national convention in Orlando, Florida, the NBPC executive reminded the audience that police lives matter.

Black Panther Claims ‘Off the Pigs’ Doesn’t Mean ‘Kill Cops’

HOUSTON, Texas – A Texas Black Panther leader claims the shouts at a recent protest of “off the pigs” were not threats to kill cops, but rather were calls for the police to stay out of black neighborhoods. The comment came during an airing of Houston based Fox 26’s Isiah Factor Uncensored in response to a Breitbart Texas video that caught a group of heavily-armed Black Panthers shouting “Off the Pigs,” and “Oink Oink … Bang Bang!”

Texas is sending fifty-two new Department of Public Safety troopers to the Texas/Mexico border region. The new troopers are part of the State’s efforts to beef up border security by providing more permanent law enforcement resources along the border region.

DEVELOPING: Two Texas DPS Troopers Shot, Suspect Dead

Two Texas Department of Public Safety Troopers were shot and injured Tuesday afternoon in Odessa, Texas. They were assisting a Texas Ranger along with two other troopers. The group was executing multiple arrest warrants in the area.
